Established in 1931, Accra Academy stands as a beacon of educational excellence in the heart of Ghana. Located in Bubuashie near Kaneshie in the Greater Accra Region, our non-denominational day and boarding boys’ school has a storied history of shaping young minds and leaving an indelible mark on the educational landscape.

Accra Academy’s journey began as the first private academy in the Gold Coast, driven by a noble mission to provide quality secondary education to those who aspired for it but lacked the financial means. In 1950, it attained the esteemed status of a Government-Assisted School, solidifying its reputation as a premier institution in Ghana’s educational fabric.

Our curriculum is diverse and comprehensive, encompassing courses in business, general science, general arts, agricultural science, and visual arts. Through rigorous academic pursuits, we lead our students on a path toward the West African Senior School Certificate, an accolade that opens doors to future successes.
