Established in 1979, Wienco Ghana Limited is a leading agricultural company jointly owned by Dutch and Ghanaian shareholders. We specialize in the importation and distribution of high-quality agro-inputs that meet international standards, supporting the growth and productivity of Ghanaian farmers.

Our core objective is to continually develop new Crop Protection areas and strengthen key partnerships to enhance the profitability and yields of Ghanaian farmers. We are committed to providing top-quality agro-inputs that enable farmers to achieve high yields and increased incomes. As part of our efforts, we are actively working towards becoming a key player in the seed industry, with a particular focus on maize.

In 2010, Wienco Ghana moved into its own state-of-the-art office located at No.14 Narku Ipan Road within the Airport Residential Area. This move reflects our long-term vision and commitment to sustainable agriculture in Ghana. It positions us to seize the numerous opportunities in Ghana’s agricultural sector and further enhance our service offerings.

At Wienco Ghana, we are dedicated to improving the productivity of smallholder farmers. We provide input packages to organized farmer groups through credit facilities, including fertilizers and agrochemicals. Repayment is done after the harvest, enabling farmers who may not have immediate financial resources to access the necessary inputs. This approach has resulted in two significant innovations in Ghana’s agriculture: the Cocoa Abrabopa Association for cocoa farmers and Masara N’arziki for maize farmers. These associations have become key partners of Wienco, empowering thousands of farmers across the country.
